HEAD VOLLEYBALL
COACH
In
three seasons as head coach at Rollins College, Sindee Snow has turned
around a team that combined for just 14 wins in the two years prior
to her arrival. The past two seasons the Tars have finished in fourth
place in the Sunshine State Conference. Her 2002 squad finished with
a 23-14 record, which marked the most wins for the Tars since 1995.
That squad became the first in seven years to be competitive in the
Sunshine State Conference, recording seven wins in conference play,
including a three-game sweep of nationally-ranked Barry in their final
SSC match of the season. Snow’s first Tar squad in 2001 finished
with a 15-19 overall record, showing immediate signs of improvement
from previous seasons.
Before taking the helm at Rollins, Snow was the head coach at Bishop
Moore High School from 1998-2000, where she registered an overall
record of 89-10 and led her team to back-to-back state championships.
She previously served as head volleyball coach at Brevard Community
College from 1985-87 and notched an 88-32 record.
A graduate and three-year letter winner at Florida Southern from 1980-82,
Snow earned second team All-Sunshine State Conference honors while
helping lead the Moccasins to a 48-8 record and the SSC Championship.
A fixture within the Orlando volleyball community, Snow has been Co-Director
of the Orlando Volleyball Academy since 1996. During that time she
has served as head coach of several club and junior national teams.
Her team finished ranked 3rd nationally in 1998, 12th in 1999, and
2nd in 2001.
