Career Development and Job Search Assistance
Are you looking for a new job or interested in changing careers? Make the most of your search by utilizing the programs and services available to you through Career Services.

If you are an Arts and Sciences alumni in the Orlando area, take full advantage of our services, including workshops and other events. Our library has hundreds of resources available with information on the job search process, along with up-to-date job listings and company information. Each spring we host Career Expo on the Rollins campus. Representatives from all types of  organizations share information on a wide variety of job opportunities. Individual career counseling appointments are available on a limited basis--summer is a great time to speak with one of our staff members.

Regardless of where you are currently located, you may benefit from our Internet links and online job posting system, Jobs for Tars.

The Career Services staff can also work with alumni via email. It is a good way to get answers to quick questions regarding the job search or graduate school admission process. In addition, we can review your resume and cover letter and make suggestions for improvement. Just send them to the Career Services staff (careerservices@rollins.edu) as an attachment in Microsoft Word, or fax them to us (407) 646-2449 with instructions on how to contact you.

Become a Career Volunteer through the Career Connections Program
Rollins College Career Connections is a career-networking database of volunteers who are willing to assist Rollins students and alumni with career preparation and related job search questions. Through this program, Rollins alumni volunteer their expertise and time to help current students and other alumni in their career preparation and job search.

The listing of Career Connections volunteers is maintained by the Office of Career Services and made available to students and alumni who are registered users of Rollins' Jobs for Tars system.  Career Connections volunteers provide information about their occupation and career path, either in person, by phone or through email.  Career Connections Volunteers are often asked to share training, skills or experience required of their specific occupation; explain positive and negative aspects of their work; describe their day-to-day activities and discuss industry trends.
