Curious what your test results would be
for the GRE, GMAT, MCAT, or LSAT? Take the FREE practice version
administered by The Princeton Review. Register in advance in the Office of
Career Services, 1st Floor, Fairbanks Building (407-646-2195).
The MCAT exam will take approximately 5
hours to complete (plus a 30-minute lunch break) and include sections on
physical sciences, verbal reasoning, two essays and the biological
sciences.
The LSAT practice exam will not include
an essay question, but will be administered in 5 sections and last for
approximately 3 hours.
The GMAT practice exam includes 2 essays
and 7 other quantitative and verbal sections, for a total estimated time of
3 hours.
The GRE practice exam will last for
approximately 3 hours and will include 2 essays and 4 additional sections in
verbal reasoning and quantitative reasoning.

| At an Idealist.org Graduate
School Fair you can meet representatives from 50-200 graduate programs in
fields such as Nonprofit Management, Education, Social Work, Divinity,
Global and Public Health, International Affairs, Law, Public Policy,
Socially Responsible Business, Urban Planning, and many more. Each
event will also offer a set of workshops that will describe the various
degrees, illuminate the application and financial aid process, and guide
attendees in how to transition back to school. There is no charge for
students and alumni interested in graduate school to attend this event.

Focus Series will help you understand more about the various career fields
available. Each Wednesday, Career Center staff will provide information on a
new career field (see list above). You will learn about the type of
work, where professionals in that area are employed, what skills are
necessary for success, how much money can be earned and how to further
research, investigate and apply for positions in that area. These
workshops include handouts with related websites and information on
preparing for and conducting a successful job search.

competency during the job search process.
This webinar will be facilitated by
Donald Asher, author of ten books, a contributor to the Wall Street
Journals online editions, CareerJournal.com and CollegeJournal.com. Don is
also an education columnist for MSN Encarta and a career columnist for
USAirways magazine.

are registered to complete a Spring 2010 internship for
academic credit must attend this mandatory orientation session.
Students who do not attend this meeting will not be eligible to earn
academic credit for their spring internship. During this session,
students will meet their internship professor for the spring 2010 academic
internship course and receive the course syllabus. If you are
receiving INB credit and
have questions or a time conflict with this orientation session, you must contact Sharon Agee,

resume to write ever or you are interested in sprucing up an existing
resume, this workshop is for you. Internships, part-time jobs, study
abroad, scholarships, career fairs and full-time job searches all require the best resume
possible. Learn how to create a resume that will best showcase you,
your background, skills and experiences.
Bring a pencil and paper as you will want to take notes. Although not
required, if you have
an existing resume, bring that as well to in case you have specific
questions. This session will last approximately
50 minutes.

invited to attend Florida Techs Fall Career Fair on Wednesday, October
7 from 11:00 am 3:00 pm in the Clemente Center on FIT campus in
Melbourne.
Employers will be on the FIT campus
to network with students and alumni in the area for full-time,
internship, co-op, and part-time positions. Professional dress is

Are you interested in living in another country after
graduation?? If so, how about Japan? The Japan Exchange and Teaching
(JET) Programme is an excellent opportunity for graduates to have an
overseas living experience. The JET program is looking for
highly-motivated graduates to serve as Assistant Language Teachers (ALT)
or Coordinators of International Relations (CIR). ALTs are placed in
local elementary, middle, and high schools to teach English along with a
Japanese Teacher of English.
While sharing your language and culture with students and
colleagues in Japan, you will have the unique opportunity to learn
Japanese and to live and explore its fascinating culture! If this
interests you, please join us for an Information Session with the JET
Coordinator and Consul of the Japanese Consulate of Miami on Wednesday,
October 14 at 5:30pm in the Olin Library, Bib Lab.

| Successful artists
in the fields of film, literary, performing and visual arts will present
practical and inspirational strategies to aspiring artists, students, and
members of the arts community at this third annual Self Employment in the
Arts conference. The field of film arts is a welcome addition to the
conference this year.
The SEA conference will also address the current needs of
artists in the Tampa Bay and Sarasota areas in these challenging economic
times. Conference sessions will include:
"Marketing Art in a Tight Economy..."
"Ink Inc. - Successful Strategies for the Non-Fiction Writer"
"Networking - It's Almost Always Less Than Six Degrees"
The conference will begin at 9:15 a.m. with a keynote presentation by Susan
Harlan, artist and professor of fine arts at Portland State
University, titled, "Work By Day Paint By Night - How I Have Learned to
Balance Life and Work in Order to Make Art." A reception and networking
session will be held at the end of the conference at the Scarfone/Hartley
Gallery at the University.
Fees to attend are $45 for the general public, $25 for
students. The Office of Career Services at Rollins will pay the fee
for any student or alumni from Rollins wishing to attend. Please
contact the Office of Career Services no later than Wednesday, March 18 if
you would like to take advantage of this offer. Early registration by
March 2 is encouraged.
