There are numerous recruiting options for employers who wish to hire Rollins
College students and alumni. We are delighted to help you recruit and
support high-quality interns, entry-level hires and mid- or high-level
employees. Rollins offers flexible options to meet your recruiting
needs and we look forward to creating mutually beneficial and effective
partnerships. This page describes several ways for you to advertise
available positions and identify potential contributors to your

Posting a Job or Internship Online at Rollins
College
Employers may
list a position (undergraduate internship, full-time, or part-time) for Rollins College students
and/or alumni, using our online job posting system, Jobs for Tars.
Listing a job with Rollins College is easy and free of charge!

If it is more convenient, you may submit position announcements
for full-time jobs, part-time jobs, or internships by

Campus Recruiting
Spend a half or full day at Rollins interviewing students for your
professional entry-level job openings or internship positions. If you are
interested in coming to campus to interview students or alumni, please

Internships
Allow Rollins students to contribute their talents and ideas to your
organization in exchange for opportunities to learn outside of the

Campus Recruiting Policies

Potential employers
seeking to conduct on-campus student recruitment (that includes but is
not limited to conducting prescheduled interviews, setting up a table in
a common area, participating in career and job fairs) must contact the
Office of Career Services for permission and to schedule an appropriate
date, time and location. Scheduling of an on-campus visit must be made
at least one week prior to the date of the event.

Employers conducting
on-campus recruiting cannot have any upfront associated costs for
students related to the students being employed or being considered for
employment. This includes but is not limited to membership fees;
startup fees; fees for lessons; portfolios or placement fees; and the
purchase of tools, samples, or sales kits.

On-campus recruitment
activities cannot be combined with the marketing and or sale of products
or services to students.

When recruiting from a
table that is provided in a common area, employers must restrict all
recruiting activities to the immediate vicinity of the table and refrain
from approaching students in other nearby areas.

The college retains the
right to demand recruiters vacate college property if they fail to
comply with any of the policies or procedures outlined in this document
or any other reasonable request from a college official.

The
Office of Career Services maintains a listing of job opportunities
submitted by employers desiring to hire students. The posting of a
printed copy of the job listings will be limited to designated areas
around campus including the Office of Career Services and strategically
located bulletin boards around campus regulated by the Office of Student
Involvement and Leadership.

Employment opportunities
submitted by employers for the office’s job listing service cannot have
any up-front associated costs for students related to the student being
employed or being considered for employment. This includes but is not

Employment opportunities
submitted by employers for the office’s job listing service cannot be
combined with the marketing and or sale of products or services to
students.

Job listings submitted
to the office must comply with the college’s employment
non-discrimination policy.

The college retains the
right to remove any job listing from the job listing service without
consulting or informing the employer who submitted the listing.

Posters and flyers
advertising employment opportunities for students must receive approval
from either the Office of Career Services or the Office of Student
Involvement and Leadership.

Any employment posters or
flyers posted or distributed on campus without approval will be
immediately removed.

Third-party recruiters may only participate
in on-campus recruiting or job posting if they disclose the client
(company name) for whom the position is posted. This disclosure
must be made to the Office of Career Services staff as well as to any
potential applicants.

All employers are required to adhere to the
NACE Principles for Professional Conduct for Career Services &
Employment Professionals. These principles are outlined in the
document below.
