** Important – Volunteers
Needed For Spring 2008 Events **
It is
very important that each Communiqué member
volunteer for at least two of the spring events listed
below:
-
FPRA’s “Roast and Toast” (Thursday, March 20, 2008)
-
Hamilton Holt School’s “Starry Starry Night” (Friday,
April 18, 2008)
-
FPRA’s “Image Awards” (Thursday, April 24, 2008)
Each
year the Orlando Chapter of the FPRA raises scholarship
funds for the communication programs at Rollins College
and the University of Central Florida. The scholarship
funds are split equally among the two colleges even
though the Communiqué student chapter at Rollins College
has a significantly smaller number of members than the
Quotes student chapter at UCF. Because the Quotes
student chapter has so many members, there are always a
large number of volunteers present at each of the
events. It is important for Communiqué to have a strong
presence at the events, which is why we are asking that
each of you help out with at least two of those listed
above.
