Scholarships Available to Rollins MBA Students

Due to the generosity of corporate partners and the special individuals
listed below, the Crummer Graduate School of Business is able to
offer scholarships to students enrolled in the Rollins MBA program.

Barlow Award for Excellence
Established in 1999 by Angus ’69 and Mary Barlow, the
Barlow Award is given annually to one full-time MBA student.
Candidates are chosen based on superior undergraduate records,
work experience and positions of leadership.
Angus Barlow was a retired accountant with Ernst and Young.
He first became associated with the College when his company
performed the annual audit in the 1940s. Barlow later took
advantage of the Rollins MBA program. His lengthy association
with the School was rooted in his deep admiration for the
institution. |

Martin L. Bell Scholarship
In recognition of the importance of the non-profit sector to
our community, the Crummer School awards the Martin L. Bell
Scholarship annually to a senior-level executive of a non-profit
organization. The scholarship provides full tuition, notebook
computer, books, meals and an international study trip for a
student enrolled in the Executive MBA program. Established in
1988 in honor of Dr. Martin L. Bell, former director of the
Executive MBA program, the Bell Scholarship has been awarded
to executives from 15 local charities. |

Dynetech Scholarship for Entrepreneurs
The Dynetech Scholarship was established in 2003 by Dynetech
Corporation, a successful enterprise-management company located
in Orlando. This scholarship is awarded annually to one full-time
MBA student with a demonstrated commitment to entrepreneurship.
Dynetech develops and manages direct-to-market distribution
channels for its own propriety brands and acts as an outsource
partner for other companies. Larry Pino, founder, CEO and Chairman
of Dynetech, provides strategy and hands-on operational guidance
to 12 subsidiary companies and dozens of partner-clients managed
by his company. A successful entrepreneur, he has started, operated,
managed, and, in some cases, spun off over 45 successful businesses
in his career. Larry Pino is a commercial litigation attorney.
Over the past 20 years, he has also transacted real estate,
stock, and investment ventures exceeding $100 million in value. |

Robert T. Guillem Leader of Tomorrow
Memorial Scholarship
The Guillem Scholarship is awarded annually to student(s)
who are enrolled full-time in the Rollins MBA program who
are participating in the Global Research and Study Program
(GRASP) and who have demonstrated financial need.
The Guillem Scholarship was established in honor of Robert
T. Guillem ’94 ’97MBA who lost a three-year battle
with cancer at the age of 29. The Scholarship was established
by Guillem’s former classmates to honor his enthusiasm,
courage, and love of life. Guillem was the son of Ecuadorian
immigrants and traveled during his life to Ecuador, Spain,
Italy and Ireland, among other destinations. He was an excellent
student who received many awards and honors for achievement.

Professor Claudio Milman International
Scholarship
The Milman Scholarship was established by members of the Milman
family in honor of Associate Professor of International Business
Claudio Milman. The Milman Scholarship will be awarded to
up to three students annually. Eligible students must be enrolled
in the full-time MBA program and hold a minimum GPA of 3.2.
Preference will be given to students with an interest in international
business and demonstrated financial need.
A native of Argentina, Milman joined the Rollins College
faculty in 1996 as associate professor of international business.
Prior to Rollins, Milman was an assistant professor of management
at the Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University.
He also previously served as a visiting professor at Sookmyung
Women’s University in Seoul, South Korea. He held a
bachelor’s degree in economics from Indiana University,
a master’s degree in economics from the University of
Miami, a master’s degree in Latin American studies from
Indiana University and a master’s degree in business
administration from Ohio State University. He earned a doctorate
degree in business administration and international business
at Ohio State University. His teaching specialties included
mergers and acquisitions, privatization in developing countries
and foreign direct investment in Latin America. He also served
as a consultant to Shell Oil and the Inter-American Development
Bank. |

Colin Murray Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2005, the Murray Scholarship was created in memory
of Colin Murray ’98MBA who suffered from Lou Gehrig’s
Disease. The Scholarship is awarded annually to an African-American,
full-time MBA student based on financial need. |

Chick and Lisa Gregg Scholarship
Established by a $50,000 gift from Chick '92MBA and Lisa Gregg,
the Scholarship is awarded to an MBA student who is employed
full time while attending the Crummer School and demonstrates
financial need. The Scholarship is renewable if the student
maintains a 3.0 GPA. |

The John C. Myers Scholarship
The Myers Scholarship was established by John C. Myers III ’69
’70MBA, member of the Rollins College Board of Trustees,
past president of the Alumni Association, and former Algernon
Sidney Sullivan Scholar. The Myers Scholarship is awarded annually
to one male graduate of Rollins College enrolled in the full-time
MBA program. |

Betty Hopkins Sherman Scholarship
Established by Dr. Paul Sherman in honor of his wife, Betty
Hopkins Sherman, the Scholarship is awarded annually to one
American student who is self funding at least one-half of
the tuition. The recipient is selected based on academic merit
and financial need. Preference is given to students with interest
in small business management and who wish to become entrepreneurs
in the free enterprise system.

SunTrust Scholarship
The largest bank in Central Florida, SunTrust provides scholarships
annually to students enrolled in the full-time MBA program.
SunTrust also established the SunTrust Investment Fund which
gives students the opportunity to apply investment strategies
taught in the Rollins MBA program. |

Walt Disney World Scholarship
Central Florida’s largest employer of Crummer School graduates,
Walt Disney World Company provides scholarships annually for
students enrolled in the full-time MBA program. Preference is
given to international students. |
