Admission Process

Admission to the Rollins MBA Programs is selective and based upon an evaluation of all application materials submitted by the candidate. Previous academic records, score on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), prior work experience, and evidence of maturity and motivation are among the factors that are evaluated during the admission process.

Individuals may seek admission to the Professional MBA Program in either September or January. AMBA applicants may seek admission once a year in June, and EAMBA and Executive MBA applicants may seek admission once a year in August. The Saturday MBA program will enroll its first class in January of 2005. Admission is granted on a rolling basis; therefore, applicants are encouraged to apply early.

The Crummer Graduate School of Business continuously modifies and improves various requirements and offerings of the Rollins MBA program. Please consult the Application Form for specific admissions requirements for each program.

The following materials must be sent to the Crummer School in order for the application to be evaluated by the admissions committee. Materials may be submitted all together or piece-by-piece.

Application for Admission

Application Fee

The application fee for all programs is $50.00.

This fee must accompany the completed application form. Checks or money orders should be made payable to Rollins College.

GMAT
  • All applicants are required to submit an official score on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). Official scores should be sent directly to the school from the Educational Testing Service.
  • Please call 1-800-462-8669 or visit www.gmat.org to schedule a test time or to have GMAT scores sent to the Crummer School.
  • The GMAT requirement is waived for applicants who have already earned a graduate-level degree; however, AMBA and EAMBA applicants wishing to be considered for scholarship funds should submit a score on the GMAT even if they have a graduate degree.
  • A GMAT Review course is offered through the Crummer School - download the registration form here.

Transcripts

Applicants should arrange to have all official transcripts of academic records sent directly from each undergraduate, graduate, and professional school attended. Candidates must have completed an undergraduate degree from an accredited university to be eligible for admissions.

Letters of Recommendation

Letters of recommendation must be obtained from either past professors who are familiar with the applicant's academic performance, or professional persons who can highlight the applicant's potential for graduate work.

Interview

All applicants are required to participate in a personal interview with the appropriate MBA Program director. Interviews help the Admissions Committee assess an applicant's qualifications and provide the prospective student with a more accurate perspective of the many features of the Crummer School graduate business programs. On-campus interviews are preferred, but for those who are unable to visit Crummer, phone interviews can be scheduled.

Special for EMBA Applicants

Applicants to the EMBA Program must submit a Company Sponsorship form. This form secures the company's support of the EMBA student's schedule which requires the student to be in class on alternating Fridays. This does not necessarily indicate financial support.
