On June 6, 1957, the Rollins College Board of Trustees unanimously approved a proposed graduate program in business administration leading to the granting of MBA degrees. “The College recognized a need for business management education in the Central Florida community and responded in a profound way,” said Craig McAllaster, dean of the Crummer School.

In 1964, former Winter Park businessman, Roy E. Crummer, made a $1 million gift to Rollins College for the construction of a building to house the graduate business program.  Crummer Hall was completed in 1965 and continues to house the MBA classes. Today, more than 5,400 students have graduated from the Rollins MBA program.

The Crummer Graduate School of Business was founded in 1957 at Rollins College.
