Crummer Graduate School Appoints Executive Director of Center for Leadership Development

The Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business is pleased to announce Dr. Susan Bach has been selected to serve as executive director of the School’s Center for Leadership Development.

Bach brings an extensive background in leadership development and is a certified executive coach. Her consulting experience includes human resources and training, strategic planning, change management and customer service. She has provided consulting services to numerous organizations; including Darden, NASA, Marriott, Harris Corporation, AAA, the Orange County Jail and the City of Orlando. She has also served on the faculty of the Hospitality Management Department (now the Rosen School of Hospitality Management) at the University of Central Florida, where she was voted professor of the year. Bach holds a bachelor’s, masters and doctorate degree from New York University. Her research has been published in Lodging Hospitality, Hospitality Research Journal, Hospitality and Tourism Education, Health Care Management Review and Cornell Quarterly.

Since the late 1980s, the Crummer School has incorporated courses in ethics and leadership into their MBA curriculum. The Crummer School Center for Leadership Development was founded in 2003 to enhance the curriculum and provide students with opportunities to develop and apply leadership skills in order to better understand the role of leaders in effective organizations.

The Crummer Graduate School of Business was founded in 1957 at Rollins College.
