Crummer Graduate School Announces Executive in Residence

Dean Craig McAllaster is pleased to announce that Allen H. Kupetz will join the Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business as an executive in residence this fall. Kupetz will teach core international business courses and will lead students on international trips, through the Global Research and Study Program (GRASP), a cornerstone of the Crummer School's commitment to experiential learning and an integral part of the curriculum.

“We are delighted to have someone with Allen’s broad international business experience joining our faculty,” said McAllaster. “Allen’s teaching experience, extensive ties to the global community and the energy he brings to the classroom will serve our students well.”

Kupetz is currently the president of Kpartnerz, Inc., an Orlando firm that helps American companies sell their products and license their intellectual property throughout Asia. He served as the telecommunications policy officer for the U.S. Embassy in Seoul from 1992-96 before moving to Central Florida where he worked with several prominent local technology companies, including Phoenix Wireless (now Lucent), Triton Network Systems and MeshNetworks (now Motorola). Kupetz is the author of more than two dozen articles and international conference presentations in 15 countries on six continents. He has been an adjunct professor at the Rollins College Hamilton Holt School since 2003 and led an MBA global practicum to South Korea for the Crummer School this spring.

“It is a great honor and privilege to get to work with the Crummer School faculty and the kind of students that Crummer attracts,” said Kupetz. “I’m grateful for the opportunity and am looking forward to returning to the classroom.”
