Crummer Graduate School Presents Faculty Awards at CommencementCommencement ceremonies for the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College were held Saturday, April 29, 2006, on the Rollins campus. Spring Nextel's President of Business Markets and Crummer School Hall of Fame inductee, Thomas J. McEvoy, delivered the commencement address to the School's 142 graduates.
Moses has taught at the University of Georgia, Georgia State University, the University of Tulsa and the University of Central Florida. He has served as dean at both the College of Business at the University of North Florida and the Crummer School. He is the author of six textbooks and has published numerous articles in leading finance journals. He has served as a consultant to a number of firms and has served on the faculty of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He currently serves on the faculty of the Graduate School of Banking of the South. The Cornell Awards were established by the Board of Trustees of Rollins College in 2004 in honor of Rollins' beloved alumnus and longtime trustee George Cornell, whose generous $93 million bequest made the awards possible. Each award recipient receives a $10,000 stipend.
Certo served on the faculties at Ohio University, the University of Hawaii and Indiana State University. He has published several widely accepted textbooks, including Principles of Modern Management, Business and Strategic Management: Concepts and Applications, Supervision: Quality and Diversity Through Leadership and Human Relations: Concepts and Skills. Certo has served as associate editor of Simulation and Games and as a member of the Review Board of the Academy of Management Review. He is a consulting editor for Prentice Hall Publishing Company and is a management consultant to several major corporations. Established by the Rollins College Board of Trustees in 2003 and named in honor of Rollins' 13th president, the Award honors Rita Bornstein's leadership and contribution to the academic vitality of the College. The recipient receives a $10,000 cash stipend to be used at their discretion. |
