Daniel E. Montplaisir, CFRE, Named Director of Development of the Crummer SchoolCraig M. McAllaster, dean of the Roy E. Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College, announced the appointment of Daniel E. Montplaisir, CFRE, as director of development. Montplaisir will direct the alumni, development and external relations initiatives of the Crummer School. Dean McAllaster said, "Partnering with America's best businesses, the Crummer School has been ranked 12th among regional business schools by Forbes magazine for the quality of its business education despite its small endowment and limited financial resources. Dan's strong fund-raising skills and passion will help us raise the endowment funds needed to take the Crummer School to an even higher level of achievement." Prior to joining the Crummer management team, Montplaisir served five years as director of development for the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Central Florida, providing fund-raising leadership for UCF's largest and most diverse college. Prior to that, he spent eight years in Indianapolis with the Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation. Montplaisir has a bachelor of arts degree in liberal studies from the University of Central Florida and a master's degree in management from Indiana Wesleyan University. He holds the professional credential as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). |
