Crummer School Adds New Alumni Board MembersMaureen Walker has been elected president of the Alumni Board at the Crummer Graduate School of Business, succeeding co-presidents Jordan Lomas and John Connors. Walker, a 1992 graduate of the Crummer School's professional MBA program, is principal and senior vice president of finance and human resources at Helman, Hurley, Charvat & Peacock, Inc. (HHCP). HHCP specializes in designing and planning projects for the leisure and hospitality industry; it is the largest architectural firm in Central Florida. Walker has been a member of the Crummer Alumni Board since 1997. The following new alumni were elected to the Board: Ken Alloway '02, Patricia A. Claussen '97, Jason S. Dewey '02, Andrea L. Henderson '02, Jack Johannesmeyer '02, Juan E. Macias '01, Kyle S. Meyer '00, Cameron Shackelford '02 and Kristen D. Vennum '02. "The Crummer School is truly enhanced by having a great alumni base that is engaged," said Dean Craig McAllaster, "and I am thrilled to see this level of involvement from our graduates." The Crummer Alumni Board works to create a lifelong connection between the Crummer School and its alumni by providing meaningful opportunities, events and programs beneficial to alumni. The Board hosts continuing education seminars, career management forums and networking opportunities, and publishes The Crummer Journal, a quarterly e-mail newsletter. |
