Crummer School Appoints New Executive Director of Management and Executive EducationDean Craig McAllaster is pleased to announce the appointment of Erica Bader Sorrell as executive director of the Management and Executive Education Center at the Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business. Sorrell replaces Dr. Robert K. Prescott, SPHR, who joins the Crummer School faculty as visiting associate professor in management. A 2005 graduate of the Rollins MBA program and recipient of the first Distinguished Leader of Merit Award, Sorrell was previously human resources manager for Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando. In this capacity, she served on the opening team for the Hard Rock Hotel and Royal Pacific Resort. Prior to Loews, she led the Human Resources Department for C3i, Inc., a customer relationship management software company located in Manhattan, NY. Sorrell graduated cum laude with her bachelor’s degree from Rollins College and serves as an alumni advisor to the Rollins’ chapter of Kappa Delta sorority. The Distinguished Leader of Merit Award is given by the Crummer School Center for Leadership Development (CLD), which delivers innovative leadership programs and applied learning opportunities supplementing the Crummer School curriculum. Through the CLD, students work to refine their leadership skills through academics, experiential learning and self exploration. Established in 2005, the Distinguished Leader of Merit Award recognizes an exemplary student leader who set personal goals and action plans for leadership development and accomplished those goals. |
