Thomas Kruczek Appointed Director of Crummer School Center for Entrepreneurship

August 21, 2006 – Dean Craig M. McAllaster is pleased to announce the appointment of Thomas Kruczek as director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at the Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business.

“Tom has extensive entrepreneurial experience which will be invaluable to our MBA students who hope to use their MBA skills to launch or continue private businesses,” said McAllaster.

Kruczek joins the Crummer School after a successful career in consulting and entrepreneurial ventures. His career began as a consultant to small and mid-sized companies with John Kearney and Company in St. Petersburg, Florida. He then joined the Walt Disney World Company where he worked in financial planning and the resort sales and marketing department. Following Disney, Kruczek became a partner at the Orlando-based consulting firm the Baker Leisure Group. He then moved on to lead Sun-Tek Industries, an Orlando building materials manufacturing company. While at Sun-Tek, Kruczek and his wife purchased a resort near Yellowstone National Park in Cody, Wyoming. For several years, they managed the resort before selling their collective interests and relocating to New Mexico. While in New Mexico, Kruczek continued a consulting practice and served on the boards of several non-profit organizations. Kruczek earned both his bachelor’s degree and an MBA degree from the University of Notre Dame.
