Rollins College Crummer Graduate School Announces Four New Scholarships

Winter Park, Fla. – The Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business is pleased to announce the establishment of four new scholarships for Rollins MBA students.

In celebration of its 20-year class reunion, the Rollins MBA Class of 1986 established the Class of 1986 Scholarship to be awarded to an incoming full-time MBA student. The first scholarship will be awarded in Fall 2007.

Charles “Chick” W. Gregg, executive vice president of Greater Homes Inc., and his wife, Lisa, made a gift of $50,000 to establish the Chick and Lisa Gregg Scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a student enrolled in the Professional MBA Program who is working full time. Chick Gregg is a 1992 graduate of the Rollins Executive MBA Program and is a member of the School’s Board of Overseers.

James Hartman, former president of Mears Motor Leasing, pledged $25,000 to establish the James Hartman Scholarship for a student enrolled in the full-time Rollins MBA program. Hartman has had a long-time relationship with the Crummer School.

The Colin Murray Memorial Scholarship was created in memory of Colin Murray, a 1998 graduate of the Rollins Accelerated MBA Program, who passed away earlier this year after suffering from Lou Gehrig’s Disease. The scholarship will be awarded annually to an African-American, full-time MBA student who demonstrates financial need.
