Crummer School Announces Staff ChangesCraig M. McAllaster, dean of the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College, announces the appointment of Stephen Gauthier as associate dean, Jennifer Devitt as director of Executive MBA (EMBA) programs, Alice Argeros as director of Professional MBA (PMBA) programs and Jamie Silver as academic counselor. “The Crummer School applies the same commitment to excellence in its selection of staff as it does when seeking faculty,” said McAllaster. “This ensures that every facet of our students’ experience is the highest quality.” Gauthier, a 1982 graduate of the Rollins MBA program, was promoted from assistant dean to associate dean, where he will have marketing and operations responsibilities for all four MBA programs. Previously, he served as director of the Executive and Professional MBA programs at the Crummer School. He has been employed in a variety of capacities at the School for more than 20 years. Prior to his academic experience, Gauthier worked as director of marketing for a laser technology firm and director of student personnel for a private school serving children with learning disabilities. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and education from Michigan State University and is a 1984 graduate of Leadership Orlando. Devitt joins the Crummer School as director of EMBA programs, where she will have primary responsibility for student recruitment, retention and operations management of the EMBA program. Previously, Devitt was a managing partner at Kilmer Search Associates, an executive search firm specializing in placement of financial, marketing and sales executives in the computer software industry. She also has extensive corporate careers in management and consulting, working at IBM for 15 years and as a consultant for Booz, Allen and Hamilton in New York City. A native of Indiana, Devitt holds a bachelor’s degree in applied statistics and economics from George Washington University and an MBA degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. Argeros was promoted from assistant director to director of the PMBA program, overseeing the largest MBA program offered at Rollins. A Rollins employee for 18 years, Argeros has served the School in a variety of roles, including alumni relations and recruiting. Silver joins the Crummer School as an academic counselor in the Career Management Center, providing counseling to full-time MBA students. Silver holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in counselor education from the University of Central Florida (UCF). Prior to joining the Crummer School, Silver worked as an intern at the UCF Public Counseling Clinic and Glenridge Middle School.
