Measurement

“Becoming a leader is synonymous with becoming yourself.  That simple, that difficult.”  -Warren Bennis

Self-awareness is a key attribute of a successful leader.  The Center provides students an opportunity to identify their strengths and developmental areas through assessments and leadership coaching.  Listed below are the assessments that are used in Leadership development and coaching.

DISC - The DiSC Profile assesses personal behavior across the four DiSC behavior dimensions: Dominance, influence, Steadiness and Conscientiousness.

MBTI - The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® instrument measures personality preference on four scales; Extraversion - Introversion (E - I), Sensing - Intuition (S - N), Thinking - Feeling (T - F), and Judgment - Perception (J - P).

Birkman – Designed to accurately measure and understand individual performance potential.  Birkman has been developed as a self-report questionnaire eliciting responses about perception of self, perception of social context (others), and perception of career opportunities

Seven Skills of Successful Mangers - A pre-post assessment which measures students’ perception of their Leadership proficiency in a business context.
