CAPS at Rollins College offers
an atmosphere where personal concerns of any nature can be examined and
discussed freely and confidentially. Such an atmosphere increases the
chances that problems and conflicts can be resolved.
Through the therapeutic process, you may come to see yourself and others in
a different light, learn how to change self-defeating habits and attitudes,
and be better able to make a positive contribution to your own life as well
as to the lives of others.
You may call x6340 (or 407-628-6340 from off campus) to schedule an appointment
during our regular office hours: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Please call campus security after hours or in case of an
emergency at 407-646-2999.
We are located on the ground floor of McKean Hall. Our front door faces Lake
Virginia.
Our services are free of charge to all Rollins day students enrolled in the
undergraduate Arts and Sciences program. Consulting services are available
to RAs, peer mentors, student organizations, and Rollins faculty and staff.
What should I expect?
A therapist can often help you to understand yourself better, gain insight
into your decisions, improve your self-image, enhance your personal relationships,
and help you learn how to make new choices for more effective living. Therapists
are interested in your personal, intellectual, and psychological growth and
development. For additional information about counseling and our services,
