Wendy Brandon - Ed.D. Teachers College, Columbia University, Department Chair.  Associate Professor of Education. Professor Brandon's teaching areas include Social Foundations of Education and Multicultural Education research methods in Education. Her research analyzes the role of race, class, and gender in school success. Currently she is completing a manuscript entitled Teaching for Global Consciousness.

J. Scott Hewit - Ed.D., Ball State University. Associate Professor of Education and Director of Teacher Education. Prof. Hewit's areas of interest include Inclusive Schools, Play Based Curriculum, and Instructional Strategies.

Madeline Kovarik - Madeline Kovarik - Ed.D. University of Central Florida - Assistant Professor of Education.  Dr. Kovarik has experience as an elementary school teacher, guidance counselor, elementary specialist and K - 8 school administrator. Prof. Kovarik's areas of interest include elementary mathematics, curriculum design, instructional strategies and differentiated instruction. She teaches courses including Curriculum for the Diverse Learner, Mathematics: Content and Methods, Social Studies:  Content and Methods, Reading Diagnostics, Competencies for the Beginning Teacher, and Children's Literature.

Alden J. Moe – Ph.D. University of Minnesota. Richard James Mertz Professor of Education. Professor Moe is a specialist in literacy learning. He teaches courses on reading and writing instruction. He has been an elementary teacher and a high school teacher. He has held prior academic appointments at Purdue University, Louisiana State University, and Lehigh University. He is the author, co-author, or editor of six books, about twenty book chapters, and 50 journal articles. He is a coauthor of the Analytical Reading Inventory, seventh edition (Merrill Prentice Hall, 2003) and the senior author of Keystones for Reading (Modern Curriculum Press, 1988) a series of workbooks for elementary school students.

Giovanni Valiante - Ph.D. Emory University. Prof. Valiante's research interests include motivation and beliefs. His research has primarily been in the area of writing self-efficacy, achievement goals, and writing self-concept. He teaches courses in Child and Adolescent Development, Educational Psychology, and Sport Psychology. He is the author of Fearless Golf: Conquering the Mental Game.

Debra Wellman - Ph.D. University of Toledo. Associate Professor of Education, Associate Dean of Faculty. Dr. Wellman's research interests include literature circles, assessment strategies, and effective teaching practices. She is currently working as the Associate Dean of Faculty.
