Greetings and a warm welcome from the faculty and staff in the Department of Graduate Studies in Counseling!

The Graduate Studies in Counseling has created this webpage to develop and strengthen life-long relationships between its Alumni and the Counseling Department. Some of our specific goals are:

  • Create a a network between Rollins College Graduate Counseling alumni, faculty, and current students.
  • Strengthen diversity by building stronger connections among culturally and ethnically diverse alumni, advocacy groups/offices, and the Department.
  • Involve alumni in the educational and social aspects of the college.

Graduates of the Rollins Masters in Counseling program are employed locally and throughout the country in positions in public mental health agencies, residential substance abuse and mental health facilities, schools, and in private practice. Some graduates are utilizing their training in other fields such as mediation, health care, business and industry. Still others are engaged in pursuing doctoral programs in counseling, psychology, or related fields. On a recently completed survey, most alumni reported that they believe their training at Rollins prepared them very well for the work they are now doing.

Graduates are also encouraged to use this site as a funnel into the main Rollins alumni link to update their personal contact information so that they may be made aware when College-wide events are being planned that may be of interest. Those wishing to attain additional information about alumni networking opportunities should contact the Department chair, Alicia Homrich, at 407-646-2307 or ahomrich@rollins.edu.

If you have not done so already, we hope you will complete the personal and professional development survey form so your contact information will be up-to-date. Current contact information for our alums is essential if we are to keep you informed of special events and offerings.
