Southern Region CUPA-HR Conference

March 11-14, 2007
New Orleans, Louisiana

Invitation to Exhibitors and Sponsors

The Southern Region of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) invites you to join our members as an exhibitor at the association's 2007 Southern Region conference. The conference will be held March 11-14, 2007, at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel.

Take advantage of the opportunity to network with more than 250 human resource professionals, representing colleges and universities throughout the southern region of the United States. CUPA-HR's Southern Region includes member institutions from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.

Because of the dynamic environment faced by human resource professionals in higher education, our members continually seek effective and innovative tools to help manage change while providing responsive services to their campuses. Most conference activities are located close to the exhibitor's area providing attendees and corporate partners many opportunities to interact. Over the years, many new business partnerships have formed between attendees and exhibitors. What a perfect opportunity to make important contacts and also experience southern hospitality at its finest!

The exhibitor fee of $995 for CUPA-HR Corporate Members ($1,295 for non-members) includes conference registration costs and allows one company representative to participate in all conference activities enhancing networking with our members. For increased visibility during the conference, please consider becoming a sponsor for one of the events listed below. In response to suggestions from exhibitors who support CUPA-HR and its regional chapters, the Southern Region has revised its sponsorship program to be more consistent with the programs being offered by other CUPA-HR regions. It is hoped that establishing levels of sponsorship will make it easier for exhibitors to participate in Southern Region activities. Even if you elect not to sponsor an event, we hope you will take advantage of this excellent opportunity to participate as an exhibitor.

Exhibitors and Sponsors may also submit a concurrent session presentation proposal for consideration by our conference program committee.  The deadline for submitting presentation proposals is October 16, 2006.  Presentation proposals should be sent to Ron Klepcyk, Program Committee Chair, at klepcyk@elon.edu.

Our association is excited about the 2007 conference and looks forward to including your company among the Southern Region's group of distinguished corporate partners. To facilitate your registration as an exhibitor, download and use the Application for Exhibit Space and Sponsorship. This form should be completed and returned to CUPA-HR National Office, Tyson Place, 2607 Kingston Pike, Suite 250, Knoxville, TN  37919.
