Managing and maintaining the wired and wireless network physical infrastructure including all the switches and routers, the college's internet connectivity, traffic management, and firewall. He is also responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and operation of the Novell servers on the campus network. He works with other members of the IT Department to provide additional services to the Rollins community such as email, network printing, and managing Novell user accounts. Jim also supervises tape backups and data security measures to protect the college's information assets. |
