Network Access
Rollins College has made a commitment to fast, reliable, and
convenient network access for students. In order to fill this commitment
Information Technology has made network ports (jacks) available throughout the
campus. All residence hall rooms (one per bed), classrooms, labs, and offices
are wired to the campus network and the Internet.
Cornell Campus Center:
Four public PCs are available in the Darden Lounge E-Bar for student use. In
addition, there are 140 available ports located throughout the building, patio,
porch and gazebo.
Olin library:
The Olin Library contains 73 PCs and 10 Macs in four labs, one of which is open
around the clock during most of the week. There are also 54 open ports available
to students to use with laptops.
Bush Science Center:
15 Macs are available in the Mac Lab. There are also 25 open ports in room 206A
and 18 ports in room 107.
Cornell Social Sciences:
21 PCs are located in the Cornell Lab. There are also 33 ports
located in room 170, 28 ports in room 121, and 28 ports in 221.
Crummer Laptop Classrooms:
There are 30 available ports in room 107, 221 and 318, in addition to the computers set up in
the Crummer computer lab and open ports in the student lounge.
