About us

Creative Rollins Association for Tranquility

Creative Rollins Association for Tranquility, often referred to as CRAFT club or simply CRAFT, is a relatively-new organization on the Rollins College Campus. Our objective is to provide a relaxed environment while teaching students how to do new things.

Crafts make us feel rooted, give us a sense of belonging and connect us with our history. Our ancestors used to create these crafts out of necessity, and now we do them for fun, to make money and to express ourselves.

pocket flags

In continuation of the lacrosse teams' efforts to send care packages to two units (the 504th Airborne Parachute Infantry Regiment Unit and the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team Task Force Saber) currently deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, CRAFT mailed a total 300 flags to these units. Project Pocket Flag works to provide every service member with a small flag to carry in their pocket. This flag symbolizes a piece of home that they can always have with them.

To the members of 504th Airborne Parachute Infantry Regiment Unit and 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team Task Force Saber, we thank you for you service.

Our crafts usually work on a two week cycle. The first week we learn a new craft, and the following week we put all the finishing touches on the project. However, this can vary as some crafts take any where from one week to four weeks.
