Certificate in Philanthropic FundraisingWhether you are new to the fundraising profession, thinking of changing careers, or wish to enhance your fundraising skills, the Rollins College Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership Center's Certificate in Philanthropic Fundraising can help you advance in the field and achieve your career goals. The Rollins Certificate in Philanthropic Fundraising prepares participants for leadership roles in nonprofit fundraising/development departments. Each multiple-day workshop includes professionally written materials. Participation in the workshop series also helps prepare and qualify attendees
for the CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) certification. For more
information about the CFRE, visit www.cfre.org.
However, the certification is not equivalent to the designation CFRE,
a credential offered by CFRE International. Applicants wishing to complete the Certificate in Philanthropic Funraising must notify the Philanthropy Center by July 1, 2009. After July 1, 2009, all applicants wishing to apply for the certificate program must complete the following requirements for admission:
Required Workshops All participants wishing to use Indiana University Fund Raising School
workshops to fulfill requirements for the Certificate in Philanthropic
Fundraising or the Certificate in Nonprofit Management must notify the
Philanthropy Center prior to October 1, 2009. After that date, the Philanthropy
