Certificate in Nonprofit Management

The Rollins College Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership Center's Certificate in Nonprofit Management provides a practical foundation for those pursuing a career in the nonprofit sector. Leading today's nonprofit organization requires expertise in multiple areas of business, a broad knowledge of fundraising, and unique leadership skills in order to be successful. Executive directors and senior managers need to be generalists who can master many areas. Certificate participants will receive a broad-based professional education to equip them for leading nonprofit organizations.

The engaging training directly applies to your day-to-day work. Instructors with substantial knowledge and experience in the nonprofit sector teach all the workshops.

Workshops are organized so participants can earn a certificate in less than two years. Upon successful completion of 75 non-credit hours of professional education, participants are awarded a framed Rollins College Nonprofit Management certificate.

The Certificate in Nonprofit Management is an ideal way to pursue professional education without the burdensome financial and time commitments of a degree program. Upon completion, participants have the credential and expertise to advance their nonprofit career.

All participants wishing to use Indiana University Fund Raising School workshops to fulfill requirements for the Certificate in Philanthropic Fundraising or the Certificate in Nonprofit Management must notify the Philanthropy Center prior to October 1, 2009. After that date, the Philanthropy Center will no longer accept IU Fund Raising School programs toward the completion of Philanthropy Center certificates.
