Certificate in Proposal Writing

A really good grant proposal writer is always in demand, so if you enjoy research and writing, love a challenge or just want to win increased funding for your nonprofit, you’ll want to consider pursuing a Certificate in Proposal Writing. It offers the tools to develop carefully targeted, well-written proposals that make a compelling case for an organization and its mission. The Certificate in Proposal Writing will guide you through the proposal-writing process from start to finish.

The Philanthropy Center's proposal writing workshop series is unique. It was carefully developed to be interactive through the use of speakers, group discussions, group exercises, and the completion of an actual proposal, which is peer-reviewed. During the Proposal Writing series, four prominent area funders speak about funding, proposal writing, and what they look for in a proposal.

The participants of our Certificate in Proposal Writing series rate it highly:

Fantastic series!!! Great teacher!!! Great handout materials!!! Quality speakers!!! Great homework assignments!! Good networking!!

Great! It made this forbidding subject accessible, understandable, and attainable!

Wow! Even as an experienced proposal writer, I learned a tremendous amount, and I'm excited to implement it in my work.
