MBA Board Member Program
The Crummer Graduate School of Business
MBA Board Member Program
Would you like to have the benefit of another energetic, business-minded
young person on your board of directors? The Philanthropy Center and the
Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business are teaming up to
train MBA students in board governance. These students are willing to
serve on your board until they have completed their graduate
studies.
Nonprofit organizations can receive the assistance of students from the
top ranked MBA program in Florida. These students are trained in “best
practices” of board governance.
The MBA Board Member will contribute to the nonprofits
by:
• bringing an enthusiastic and youthful approach that adds a different
prospective
• providing business skills that are based on the most current teachings
• having access to the counsel of faculty and staff at Rollins when
deeper guidance on issues is needed
• improving their community outreach and increasing the boards circle
of contacts
• creating a next generation of leaders, committed to the mission
of the nonprofit (75% of Crummer graduates remain in Central Florida)
Nonprofit organizations can request a MBA Board Member
