Residential Organizations :

Residential Organizations are groups of students involved in the same organization who reside together in the same large house on campus. To find out how you could live in an R.O., contact Ingrid McLennan at mclennan@rollins.edu.

Chi Omega is a social organization of service, leadership, and unity with dedication to scholarship, diversity, and excellence. Our closely-knit group of women with many lasting traditions make a positive impact on the Rollins College campus.

  • Color: Cardinal

Alpha Omicron Pi or (A-O-Pi) is Rollins' newest sorority. Alpha Omicron Pi promotes friendship for a lifetime, inspiring academic excellence and lifelong learning, and developing leadership skills throughout the community.

Kappa Delta is a diverse group of women who strive to combine both service and social plans to benefit the Rollins and Winter Park community. Members work hard to maintain high scholastic standing, support each other in all endeavors, and promote a feeling of true sisterhood.

Non Compis Mentis is a progressive group of women that establishes their own rules and goals while learning and growing from one another. Their unique and diverse group harvests an atmosphere where everyone is free to be their own individual.

Pinehurst Cottage


  • Rooms: 20    Residents: 20

Built in 1886, Pinehurst Cottage is the only original building remaining on campus. A historical renovation was completed in spring of 2008 bringing the building back to its original glory. The renovation has won several awards for historical preservation.

Pinehurst Organization is a special-interest group which encourages tolerance, respect and development of creative individuals and a diversified community.  Members encourage the breakdown of existing social barriers to facilitate understanding and progress while encouraging exposure to the unfamiliar as an integral part of education and knowledge. Residents sponsor panels and group discussions of contemporary campus, community and global issues. During the spring semester, current members conduct interviews with students for selection into Pinehurst Cottage. Typically, upperclassmen reside in Pinehurst Cottage. However, membership to the organization is open to all students, not just residents.

Lyman Hall


Home of Rollins Outdoor Club

ROC is an active campus organization dedicated to broadening community awareness and enjoyment of outdoor activities.The activities of the group include camping trips, SCUBA diving, lectures, movies, and safety instruction. During the spring semester current members conduct interviews with students for selection into Lyman Hall.  Typically, upperclassmen reside in Lyman Hall. However, membership to the organization is open to all students, not just residents.
