Q. Will the Rollins license plate be available indefinitely?

A. Due to the proliferation of specialty license tags, the Florida Legislature passed legislation in 2006 to discontinue specialty tags of organizations that did meet the required 1,000 new and/or renewal plate registrations over a 12-month period of time. Rollins saved its specialty license tag and it will be available for years to come.

Q. How much does the Rollins plate cost?

A. The plate costs just $25* per year more than a regular issue Florida license plate when you renew your tag.

*An additional plate change fee of $18 is applicable for plates changed before renewal date.  Renewal date generally occurs during your birth month. Consult your local tag agency office for exact details and fee structure.

Q. Why do I have to pay extra every year?

A. The purpose of every specialty license plate is to raise funds for a particular cause.  Each of the plates requires an annual fee for the use of the special design plate.  Florida Statutes would have to be amended to change this requirement.
