Martin Luther King, Jr. - Atlanta, Georgia (1/15/29 - 4/4/68) This stone was contributed by Rev. Daniel Matthews (class of '55), who secured it from the King family. It was installed by members of the Rollins Black Student Union in 1984.
Danny Glover and Felix Justice will present "An Evening with Langston and Martin" Thursday November 6 at 7 pm in the Knowles Memorial Chapel. The two actors will bring the speeches of Martin Luther King and the poetry of Langston Hughes to life with theatrical readings. A stone will be set for Glover and Justice earlier in the afternoon.

The house is in the rear of one where Lafayette, Marshal Ney, and King Louis Philippe of France had been house guests." But could he beat Deep Blue? This was Rollins President Thaddeus Seymour's favorite stone.
